1. Thaw the Meat
No matter what else you do to your burger, it is impossible to make a good sandwich when the meat is rubbery. If you really want to spice up your burger, then you need to start with a high-quality blend, bring it to room temperature, and then cook it to 140° F for medium. This will give your burger a better texture, lock in the moisture, and allow you to really start spicing it up.

2. Don’t Flip More Than Once
One of the most difficult parts of cooking a burger is the amount of restraint that you must show. Many people like to fuss over their burger when they feel like it is not cooking at the correct speed, but this can result in some serious taste and texture problems.
